Helen’s Asian Kitchen Parchment Steamer Liners, Pack of 20

Helen’s Asian Kitchen Parchment Steamer Liners, Pack of 20

Helen's Asian Kitchen Parchment Steamer Liners, Pack of 20

  • 20-pack of pre-cut rounds for lining steamers during cooking; 9-1/2-inch diameter
  • Made from heat-resistant parchment paper for use with breads, dumplings and dim sum
  • Perforated design allows for steam circulation
  • Simplifies cleanup by preventing food from sticking to steamer
  • Suitable for use with bamboo or metal steamers

Line the bottom of your bamboo or metal steamer so dumplings, breads and dim sum will not stick. The perfect solution for steaming dumplings, breads and dim sum without sticking. Instead of using cabbage leaves or tediously cutting out rounds of waxed paper, these 9 ½” perforated parchment paper liners fit right into the bamboo steamer. For larger steamers, layer with two or more liners. Breads, dumplings and even Thai sticky rice won’t stick, vegetables won’t stain the steamer and after cooking, you simply throw the used liner away. Keeps your steamer clean and so easy to use. I steamed dumplings for 45 minutes with these and the meat was still raw in the middle. Very little steam gets through the parchment paper when cooking. You’re much better off buying a roll of parchment paper at the grocery store and poking your own holes in it.

The title of my review says it all; these bamboo steamer liners work just fine, but lettuce leaves are cheaper.

I have to say what a great product! I have been steaming for many years using cabbage as a liner for the steamer, the cabbage worked ok but was messy and I personally don’t like cabbage. Once I used Helen’s liners I was convinced! The dumplings came out moist and delicious. Even my husband steams now since its such an easy clean up with the liners!

I also used it last week for steamed fish and my kids loved it (they never eat fish!)

    GREAT product!
